Bruaset leader of Research Education
Professor Are Magnus Bruaset has been appointed temporarily as Director of Research Education and the subsidiary Simula School of Research and Innovation.

Bruaset is Director of Research Applications, and will also head Simula’s educational activities until a permanent solution is found. Bruaset has worked at Simula since 2003, and during his tenure he has served as assistant director of Simula School of Research and Innovation. He is also heading the Computational Geosciences project.
Bruaset holds a part time position as professor in scientific computing at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. Formerly, he has served as senior research scientist at Sintef Applied Mathematics, and been an entrepreneur in the software industry.
