The main theme of the meeting was to present the results of the Resilient Networks project and pave the way for an extension of the project for a new five year period. The Minister Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa and her delegation met enthusiastic members of the project team that could inform her about remarkable results that really could improve the stability of computer networks.

The delegation was intrigued by the prospects outlined for the next five years, and Mrs. Kleppa stated that she looks forward to follow the work at Simula and the researchers at the Resilient Networks project in the future.  "Simula's plans for conducting research on the Norwegian network structure is interesting for institutions that depend on stable connections. Especially will the hospitals and the banking sector find the work very useful", said the Minister.
