My work at Simula

After finishing my Ph.D. on cost drivers and productivity measurement during software evolution, I am currently the project manager of the BEST project in the Software Engineering Department. My goal is to make the project work towards our goal of improving software project planning, in particular in the areas of requirements specifications written in natural language and judgment based estimation.

One important goal is to use scientific methods and research results to improve practices in the software industry. Having a background in software tools development, I am also constantly looking for opportunities to implement research results into such tools.
