My post-doctoral research is part of the Cardiac Computations Project. It involves modeling the ST-segment shift associated with myocardial ischemia, which is a continuation of my PhD research, and also a new project--simulating atrial fibrillation.
I hail from the town of Glace Bay on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. My education includes a PhD in Scientific Computing from the University of Oslo, Norway, a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematics and Statistics from Acadia University, Wolfville, NS.
