Dr. Mary (Molly) Maleckar received her PhD from the Department of Biomedical Engineering/Institute for Computational Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in 2008 and began work at Simula in the Scientific Computing Department in January 2009. She is now the Head of Department for Computational Cardiac Modeling, and the Deputy Director of the future Center for Cardiological Innovation SFI at Oslo University Hospital (Rikshospitalet). Her research is strongly focused on applications in cardiac electrophysiology and electromechanics.
