With a background in psychology, I joined the PERCEVAL project and the Media Performance Group as a PhD student to contribute with a cognitive perspective on quality assessment.

My research interests lie within the fields of visual perception and audiovisual integration. These are important factors that are too frequently ignored in the development, testing and implementation of new video standards. My aim is to explore the extent to which audio and video distortions affect the perceptual experience.
