Svein Linge received his PhD in biomechanics from the Norwegian University of Sport and Physical Exercise (NUSPE) in 2001. Two years later, he joined the Simula Research Laboratory as a visiting associate professor to work on heart mechanics computations. His current reseach interests relates primarily to modelling and simulation of the cerebrospinal fluid system, with particular emphasis on the Chiari malformation problem. Since 2008 his main employer has been the Telemark University College.
