Design, Development, and Testing of Mars Rover

This project involves developing new methods to design, develop, and test NASA JPL's Open Source Rover, which is a scaled-down version of real Mars Rover used on Mars.

Several topics are available under this topic focusing on 1) Requirements engineering for Rovers; 2) Modeling and Simulation of Rovers; 3) Testing and verification of Rovers.

The topic will be built on the open-source version of Mars Rover: github.com/nasa-jpl/open-source-rover

All these topics will involve applying a varying degree of machine learning techniques (e.g., deep neural networks and reinforcement learning), and search algorithms (e.g., Genetic Algorithms).

Goal

The goal is to develop and implement new methods for Mars Rover.
