Apply now: Two day hackathon hosted by the Simula Garage

The Simula Hack aims to connect the two worlds of research and entrepreneurial tech work in a burst of creativity. The hackathon will take place February 28 - March 2, 2018, and the winner will receive 30 000 NOK to develop their idea.

The Simula Hack aims to bring different groups together, and encourage a creative, fun way of problem solving and creating new concepts. Teams of researchers and entrepreneurs will work together on challenges of their own choosing, to see what solutions can be reached across a two day hackathon. We want to see what happens when we bring the talent in these groups together.

The winning team of the Simula Hack will receive a prize of NOK 30 000 to further develop their idea. There will be additional funders and corporate partners in the room who will be eager to see what the teams come up with and to get involved. The Simula Hack will take place from Wednesday 28th of February at 13:00 to Friday 2nd of March 2018 at 17:00 at Simula’s premises on Fornebu. The event will be facilitated by Mettle Studio, a design studio in the UK.

Who can attend?

Anyone with an interest in working on new ideas and technology development.
