Researcher of the Decade to Olav Lysne

Prof. Olav Lysne, director of SimulaMet, was awarded the Simula Researcher of the Decade 2021 award in recognition of his fundamental contributions to the development of Simula.

Each year, Prof. Aslak Tveito (CEO of Simula) awards the Simula Researcher of the Year. Every 10 years, Prof. Tveito awards the Simula Researcher of the Decade to someone who has gone far and beyond in their contributions to both their research field and to Simula over the last decade.

The 2021 Simula Researcher of the Decade was awarded to Prof. Olav Lysne at Simula's 20th-anniversary celebration. Congratulations to Prof. Lysne on this well-deserved recognition of his important and consistent contributions!
