
2024 Summer School in Computational Physiology – Applications open!

In conjunction with the University of California, San Diego, Simula is pleased to announce the 10th edition of our annual Summer School in Computational Physiology. This school focuses on multiscale modelling of electrophysiology and mechanics of the heart, and related material in computational neurophysiology and pharmacology.

Deadline: We are currently seeking master's and early doctoral students to participate and will accept applications until February 16, 2024.
Course details and application:
The summer school takes place in two blocks, and this year there is a special 10th-anniversary event in Oslo on the Friday (June 14) before the beginning of coursework:
- June 14-28: Simula Research Laboratory, Oslo, Norway Lecture series, project work
- August 5-13: University of California San Diego, La Jolla, CA, USA, Project work, guest lectures and final student presentations
Successful applicants' travel and accommodation expenses will be supported by grants from Simula designed to cover these costs. Details regarding scheduling, logistics, core scientific material, and the application process can be found on the course webpage.
