Apply now: Two day hackathon hosted by the Simula Garage

The Simula Hack aims to connect the two worlds of research and entrepreneurial tech work in a burst of creativity. The hackathon will take place February 28 - March 2, 2018, and the winner will receive 30 000 NOK to develop their idea.
The Simula Hack aims to bring different groups together, and encourage acreative, fun way of problem solving and creatingnew concepts. Teams of researchers and entrepreneurs will work togetheron challenges of their own choosing, to see what solutions can be reached across a two day hackathon. We want to see what happens when we bring the talent in thesegroupstogether.
The winning team of the Simula Hack will receive a prize ofNOK 30 000to further develop their idea.There willbe additional funders and corporate partners in the room who will beeager to see what the teams come up withand to get involved.The Simula Hack will take place fromWednesday 28th of February at 13:00 to Friday 2nd of March 2018 at 17:00at Simula’s premises on Fornebu. The event will be facilitated byMettle Studio, a design studio in the UK.
Who can attend?
Anyone with an interest in working on new ideas andtechnology development.
How do I apply?
To apply, you’ll need to tell us a little about yourself, what skills you would bring to the hackathon and why you would like to be involved.Apply no later thanMonday 4thof December 2017 at 17:00.
After applying and submitting your challenge, the Simula Garage team will on7th of December 2017pick the 5 challenges they think are the clearest and most impactful if solved to be taken through to the hackathon.
