Simula looks forward to increased collaboration with OsloMet. From 1 January this year, OsloMet and Simula have jointly established “Center for Digital Engineering” (CDE – tentative name). CDE will conduct excellent research within digital engineering and educate Master- and PhD-candidates. CDE will be located in, or close to, the OsloMet campus downtown Oslo. We look forward to be part of the development of OsloMet.

Oslo and Akershus University college was today granted status as a university with the name OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University (“OsloMet – storbyuniversitet” in Norwegian). Simula Research Laboratory extends our warmest congratulations to our partners and friends at OsloMet. We can only imagine the hard work invested in achieving the university status.
