Simula master student wins Norwegian Computing Center prize

Joakim Misund, a student of Master in Informatics: Programming and Networks at the University of Oslo was recently awarded with the prize for best master thesis by the Norwegian Computing Centre.
The price is awarded annually to the best master thesis within the fields of mathematics and IKT in an academic year at the University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
At Simula, Joakim was part of the CASPER-group. Joakim wrote his thesis on the EU-project RITE, which was coordinated by Simula.The title of Joakim's thesis was "Rapid Acceleration in TCP Prague".
