Simula UiB is currently looking for a new director to have the strategic responsibility for Simula UiB and the day-to-day running of the company.

Simula UiB, a subsidiary to the Simula group, is a research centre with a strong professional competence in cryptography and information theory. The goal of the centre is to increase the security expertise in Norway through research and education. Having been established in 2016, the company is now looking for a new director to continue the successful operation of the centre.

The director will be an important driving force in facilitating world-class research and for delivering research projects. She/he will maintain and further develop a future-oriented, attractive research environment with stable funding through excellent management. An important leadership task will be to make Simula UiB's role and results visible to public bodies, international research environments, and society more broadly. The director will work closely in collaboration with the Simula UiB’s board and owners and ensure good cooperation internally and with the other companies in the Simula group.
