MI-RISK: Risk factors for sudden cardiac death during acute myocardial infarction
In the MI-RISK consortium, consisting of 4 internationally recognized research groups, it is our ambition to bridge the knowledge gap between acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and sudden cardiac death (SCD) to improve survival of patients. Our complementary research groups, with expertise spanning from patient to animal model to molecular biology to computer simulation, define a synergistic approach to discover risk factors and causes of SCD during AMI.
